FAQ

Does Central Recovery Provide direct treatment services?

Central Recovery does not. Its subsidiary, Las Vegas Recovery Center provides a full continuum of care for both substance use disorders and chronic pain conditions. This comes in the form of inpatient medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation, and residential treatment as well as outpatient treatment programs. Each person is different, thus an assessment is critical to determine what program will best suit you and your family’s needs.

How do I know if I need treatment?

In many cases, if you are asking yourself this question, getting an evaluation from a professional is a good place to start. It is important to be honest with yourself about the frequency and quantity of alcohol or drugs you consume. Minimizing your consumption will prevent an accurate diagnosis.

I have chronic pain and take opioids as prescribed by my physician. I'm not addicted, so how will your chronic pain recovery program help me?

Our Pain Recovery Program at LVRC admits people who have followed all their doctor’s orders precisely. We know that over time, the opioid pain drugs become less effective. People are left with a decision: Do I continue to increase my dose or find an alternative? We provide that alternative in a very specialized inpatient functional restoration program designed to withdrawal you from opioid pain drugs as well as begin to focus on your physical and emotional health. LVRC’s goal is to reduce pain by 50% and eliminate any habit forming medications.

Is Suboxone a good method to deal with my opioid addiction?

The answer is complex. We at Central Recovery do not advocate for drug replacement therapy or Medically Assisted Recovery. You should know that Suboxone is a habit-forming medication. Once dependent to Suboxone, coming off can be difficult. It all depends on what you want your recovery to look like. Free from all habit forming substances or still dependent.. the choice is yours.

Will Insurance Cover Treatment?

We certainly wish the answer was an easy “yes”. As with most medical conditions, health insurance companies have a set of criteria that must be met in order to authorize care. This criteria, often referred to as “medical necessity”, is based on evaluations. These evaluations paint of picture of your unique history as well as you or your loved one’s current condition. Authorizations may not always be for what you think you or your loved one needs. The good thing is that Las Vegas Recovery Center has years of experience navigating the complexity of health insurance. They have contracts with some insurance companies and they also have the ability to access out of network benefits for most other plans. If you insurance benefits are limited, there are private pay options available.

Call Las Vegas Recovery Center’s admissions office to discuss details about your specific health insurance. A verification of benefits is always free and confidential.
