FAQ

Does Central Recovery provide direct treatment services?

Central Recovery does not. Its subsidiary, Las Vegas Recovery Center provides a full continuum of care for both substance use disorders and chronic pain conditions. This comes in the form of inpatient medical detox, inpatient rehabilitation, and residential treatment, as well as outpatient treatment programs. Each person is different, thus an assessment is critical to determine what program will best suit you and your family’s needs.

How do I know if I need treatment?
In many cases, if you are asking yourself this question, getting an evaluation from a professional is a good place to start. It is important to be honest with yourself about the frequency and quantity of alcohol or drugs you consume. Minimizing your consumption will prevent an accurate diagnosis.
I have chronic pain and I am take opioids, as prescribed by my physician. I'm not addicted, so how will your chronic pain recovery program help me?

Our Pain Recovery Program at Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) admits people who have followed all their doctor’s orders precisely. We know that over time, opioid pain drugs become less effective.

People are left with a decision: Do I continue to increase my dose or find an alternative?

We provide that alternative in a very specialized inpatient functional restoration program, designed to withdrawal you from opioid pain drugs, as well as begin to focus on your physical and emotional health. LVRC’s goal is to reduce pain by 50 % and eliminate any habit-forming medications.

Is Suboxone or MAT a good method to deal with my opioid addiction?

The answer is complex. Central Recovery and our family of companies believe there are many pathways to recovery.  Currently, Las Vegas Recovery Center does not provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder.  It is important that you weigh all the options before making a decision.  Feel free to contact the admissions office at Las Vegas Recovery Center to ask more questions.

Will insurance cover treatment?

We certainly wish the answer was an easy “yes”. As with most medical conditions, health insurance companies have a set of criteria that must be met in order to authorize care. This criterion often referred to as “medical necessity” and “clinical necessity,” is based on evaluations. These evaluations paint of picture of your unique history as well as you or your loved one’s current condition. Authorizations may not always be for a level of care you think you or your loved one needs. Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) has years of experience navigating the complexity of health insurance. LVRC has contracts with some insurance companies and also has the ability to access out of network benefits for most other plans. If your insurance benefits are limited, there are private pay options available.

Call Las Vegas Recovery Center‘s admissions office to discuss details about your specific health insurance. A verification of benefits is always free and confidential.
